News to Know: Secrets of the Messel Pit, a Fossil Graveyard: This article addresses a YEC problem known as the Messel Pit, which contains a wide variety of fossils that are 48 million years old. The AiG author says that it doesn't demonstrate upward evolution or transitional forms. No problem for evolutionists. The author never provides evidence against the assigned date (48Ma), and merely "assumes" the deposit is after the flood of Noah (without providing scientific proof to back up this assumption). Hint for the AiG author: science relies on evidence...please provide some!

An 'Old-Earth' Answer Provides only Problems: This is a response to some feedback provided to CMI by an author on this website, Mike Hore. Mike brings up some valid points. This is a long article, and demonstrates that YEC ministries such as CMI take old earth creationism as a serious threat. However, we are not a serious threat to the Bible, nor are we preventing people from coming to Christ (as YEC's are). Old earth creationism is only a threat to the livelihood and beliefs of young earth creationists.
