According to AiG, you have to "ask the right critical thinking questions with the Bible as our foundation." For a YEC, that means through the rose-colored glasses of YEC science, so that you filter out the truth!

Fast Rocks: This is a common claim made by YEC's. Rocks form fast, and they point to stalagtites and stalagmites. Unfortunately, the examples that YEC's use are the equivilent of comparing apples and oranges.
